police logs published by the WPD are now searchable back to 2021

now that we have all the log data stored, i figured we had to do something with it. so now under the layers menu on the map you can select "police logs." the data shown is controlled by a new panel that opens up where you can set the date range (now - mar 2021) and the data set (traffic stops, crashes, directed patrols).
by default you're viewing a heatmap of the last three months' worth of traffic stops.
