Chairman Darren Baird opened up the meeting: Good evening, its 7:02pm on August 12 2021. This is a special meeting of the town of Winthrop Board of appeal. with me tonight, are members: Tom Chiudina, and associate members Jason Wright and John Young. And we also have our clerk Sharon Sicurella and Laurisa from a zoom perspective, we are holding this meeting pursuant to a special act of the legislature that allows us given the covid 19 pandemic to continue to hold them remote by zoom in so this is a public meeting, this meeting will be recorded, and obviously as a public meeting the members of the public who are here or attend our free at a times when indicated to speak on any matter that's on our agenda. So with that, I will start with our first and only case this evening, which is case number 019-2021 Todd Green its a request for a bed and breakfast at 90 Highland Avenue. I'm sitting on this one was myself, Tom Chiudina. And Jason Wright. And we had continued this from our last hearing, so that the applicant could submit its inspection report, as well as the parking plan for the site. And so we have both of those now. And I think at the last meeting, we did close public comments, so there's no need for public comments. So I will open this up for questions from the board based on what was submitted by Mr. Green in between meetings. Not sure Jason or Tom, if you have any questions.
Tom Chiudina-Mr. Chairman, I'll make a motion with regards to the request for an air transient lodging at 90 Highland Ave, based on the findings that the applicant has met the conditions of the bylaws for transient lodging has provided the parking plan received on 6/11/21 the board find in approval of a special permit for the transient lodging. I guess that's it.
Chairman Baird-Just to be clear, this is for a bed and breakfast license not a transient lodging. So I will take a motion Jason second. All those in favor by roll call. Chairman Baird. Yes, Jason. Yes. Tom Yes,
Chairman Baird-. so the bed and breakfast license has been granted. , we will issue a decision, that decision should get recorded, and then you are free to operate. So when that decision gets issued, there is a 20 day appeal period. So you'll have to wait 20 days before you can record it, that in convert to confirm that no appeal has been filed.
Chairman Baird- regarding the meeting minutes the Board needs to approve, some were missing from 2020. You know, I think with COVID , those weren't always followed up. And we just got to figure out how to get those because we are required to have meeting minutes posted. And so we'll continue to clean that up. I'm going to work with Sharon and Laurisa and Denise and others to fill in what we can and do our best to complete the meeting minutes. So hopefully, by the next meeting, we will be able to fill in all the ones that were missing. So we'll send those to the board as they're put together. And then we'll do a one by one meeting minute vote to approve all those minutes. I will take a motion to adjourn. Motion to adjourn at 7:14pm. so moved by Jason. Do I have a second? Second for Mr. Young. All those in favor by roll call to adjourn at 7:13pm. Mr. Baird. Yes, Tom? Yes. Jason, yes. John Yes. So we are adjourned.
