CDICR Minutes – Town Hall, Room 2, First Floor. June 8, 2022 6:00 PM

2. Minutes from May meetings 
 Minutes passed by voice vote. 
3. Juneteenth – Ramona Cooper and David Green tree memorial 
 Commission invited to memorial planting for David and Ramona on June 26, 
Sunday at 9am. We were not consulted. Poor timing for “faith leade rs”. 
 Commission recommends that the Town of Winthrop fly town flags at half mast in 
memory of David Green and Ramona Cooper. 
 Explore different modes of communicating information on Juneteenth for example by 
submitting articles to the Transcript and/or Town Manager’s Blog. 
4. Invite TC President Jim Letterie and new T own Manager Anthony Marino to next meeting. 
 Overall frustration with mission of Commission. Needs greater focus and support. 
5 . Public Comment : Bee recommend ed pursuing grants and exploring other opportunities (such 
as ARPA?).
