Town Staff members in attendance: Rachel Kelly
Commissioners Absent: Brian Corbett
Meeting called to order at 7:04.
77 Harborview Avenue, Notice of Intent (continued)
The applicant returned with further information requested from the Commission. The dry wells to be
installed at 86 cubic feet and all downspouts must be directed into the drywells. Mesh stabilization
screens will be installed where needed for bank stabilization. Only minor branch trimming will be done
in the area. All debris from construction will be kept away from the coastal bank.
Newly installed retaining walls will be constructed of porous blocks. Shed on site will be removed.
The Commissioners were concerned that the removal of the existing tree on the edge of the coastal bank
may negatively impact the stability of the bank. The tree should remain in place to ensure there is no
additional erosion on the bank.
Dumpster and laydown area should be in the driveway area.
81 Upland Road, Notice of Intent (continued)
Additional information regarding the project at 81 Upland Road was presented to the Commission. The
bank replanting and stabilization should be completed before any work will be completed within the
yard.
No construction materials should be kept near the coastal bank.
The Commission requested more information on the planting time table, overview on the parties doing
the planting and vegetation install, type of plants to be planted.
