Winthrop Contributory Retirement System Board Meeting 1 Metcalf Square, Winthrop, Massachusetts, Harvey Hearing Room February 27, 2023 4:00 PM Posted Agenda Call to Order Roll Call Vote to approve the Retirement Board minutes for the meeting held on January 24, 2023 Vote to approve the transfer of Joseph West’s total accumulated deductions effective February 28, 2023, to the Braintree Retirement System. Winthrop’s 3(8)(c) liability is 1.6667 years. Vote to approve the transfer of Joseph DiPietro’s total accumulated deductions effective February 28, 2023, to the MWRA Retirement System. Winthrop’s 3(8)(c) liability is 1.6667 years. Vote to approve the following rollover/refund of accumulated deductions effective February 28, 2023: Raymond LoPresti Winthrop Public Schools/Custodian Dates of service: 1/21/2014 — 12/26/2022 8.9167 years Vote to approve the Retirement System Warrant (Payroll, Accounts Payable, Investment transfers) for February 2023. Vote to approve the Trial Balance, Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements and Adjustments for December 2022 Vote to approve the Eastern Bank Statement and Reconciliation for January 2023 Vote to approve the acceptance of Kimberly Hodson effective January 17, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $14,320.11 (pro-rated) full time. Kim is an ESP with Winthrop Schools. Vote to approve the acceptance of Nadeesha Karunarathne effective January 17, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $14,382.11 (pro-rated) full time. Nadeesha is an ESP with Winthrop Schools. Vote to approve the acceptance of Dylan Cook effective January 30, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $165,000 full time. Dylan is the Town CFO. Vote to approve the acceptance of Stacie Marley effective January 29, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $1,284.30/per pay period full time, 56 hours per pay period. Stacie is employed by the ISD/Conservation as a clerk. Vote to approve the acceptance of Frank DiBiccari effective February 1, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $40,453.79 full time. Frank is employed by the DPW. Vote to approve the acceptance of Julia Gonzalez Blanco effective February 1, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $18.50 per hour, full time. Julia is a custodian for Winthrop Public Schools. Vote to approve the acceptance of Susanna Ross effective February 27, 2023, at 9% + 2%, $48,079.16 full time. Susanna is employed by the DPW as a Clerk. Old Business Vote/discuss issuance of promissory note to Ralph Cali We are aware that Attorney Turco is disputing the retirement date of Paul Flanagan. Information has been provided to Attorney Michael Sacco with more information to follow. New Business Vote to approve $200 Retro Longevity payment to Michelle Church, Retirement Coordinator Q3AI5934 Administrators Announcements: Hhel od 22 934 E202 Calendar year 2022 Budget to Actual was emailed to Board members for review Accidental Disability Option B retiree, Joseph Pritzky passed away on January 26, 2023 3(8)(c) bills were mailed January 26, 2023 The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for March 28, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the Harvey Room Vote to adjourn.
