BOARD OF ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES April 2, 2024 Assistant Assessor Kathy Hickey called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM ROLL CALL Allen Maruzzi-Present Peter Gill-Present Brian Perrin-Present MINUTES Motion by Peter Gill to accept the Minutes of the April 2, 2024 2nd by Brian Perrin PUBLIC COMMENT – None NEW BUSINESS Agreed to Board Meeting for April 16, 2024, Executive Session only with a start time of 5PM or earlier or possible. The Board reviewed all correspondence, memoranda, bulletins, emails and/or other writings presented. The Board reviewed and signed any duly approved Statutory Exemptions presented. The Board reviewed and signed any real estate, personal property, boat and/or motor vehicle commitments presented. The Board reviewed and signed any boat and/or motor vehicle tax abatements presented. EXECUTIVE SESSION The Board anticipates going into Executive Session to discuss strategy with respect to purposes as provided under M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 (a). Discussion of these matters in an open meeting could have a detrimental effect on the process. Motion by Brian Perrin to enter Executive Session and return to open session for adjournment only. 2nd Peter Gill Enter Executive Session 5:06 Board in agreement to Deem Deny two applications if no response from property owners to schedule an appointment. Motion Brian Perrin to exit Executive Session and return to open session for adjournment only. 2nd by Peter Gill Exit Executive Session 5:37 Return to Open Session for Adjournment only.
