6:30PM Call to order by MT
Vote to enter into exec session “To discuss strategy with respect to collecve bargaining or ligaon if an
open meeng may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or ligang posion of the public body
and the chair so declares.” Unanimous.
Execuve Session
Discussion with Frmr Chief Flanagan, current board member at MWRA 
 Chief Flanagan offered insights on how the fire department, and other departments have been
helped in the past by having a neighborly relaonship with the MWRA. 
 Offered insight into how agreements with MWRA are debated in their board to the extent he
was allowed to share. 
 Offered hope that a deal with the MWRA could be struck and they would connue to be good
neighbors to the extent of their ability.
Discussion regarding best advice from Chief Flanagan 
 Discussion on requesng addional aid for fire and safety equipment in new agreement with
MWRA. 
 Discussion on creang a presentaon for the council president and full council in execuve
session to discuss with full council the recommendaons of this joint sub commiee
Members thanks to Frmr Chief Paul Flanagan for his me and for the informaon he was able to share
with this group in the best interest of the town, and for his connued work represenng the town on the
MWRA board.
