Winthrop Firehouse Building Committee Meeting
Thursday, April 3rd 2025 – Harvey Room 
PRESENT: Scott Wiley, Karin Chavis, Hannah Belcher, Jim Letterie, Joe Hanlon, Jack
Dempsey, Jill Dorr, Kim Dimes, Paul Flanagan, Stephen Calandra via zoom.
Absent: Marc Wallerce Ammeded : Shannon Poulos absent

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE : 
MINUTES : Minutes from the March 25 th meeting were approved, Paul Flanagan noted
the incorrect ending time of meeting listed. 
PUBLIC COMMENT : None 
OLD BUSINESS : 
Discussed coffee hour that was held at the Senior Center on 3/26/25 the day after our
last meeting. Talked about getting the word out to vote on 4/5/25. Scott Wiley to contact
Woodside Hardware about putting a message on their sign, also to contact Steve Calla
about electronic message boards. He also mentioned having trouble with the vendor we
use for reverse 911 calls, it ’ s unlikely that a call will go out.
Jim Letterie talked about the recent town council meeting held at the Senior Center.
Well attended by the public. 
NEW BUSINESS :
(SW) wondered if we should set up a meeting next week. If the vote passes, the Town
Manager would like to have a bid for an OPM (Owners Project Manager) to be ready to
go out on 4/7/25. Discussion was had regarding the timeline of the project, when the
middle school would be torn down etc. At this meeting, sub committees would potentially
be formed.
