1. Roll call 
2. Approved minutes from November meeting 
3. Town Council Liaison 
TC will appoint someone in January 
4. Outreach 
• Two online news sources in Winthrop: Winthrop Pilot and Winthrop Observer; Karla
submitted article for the December issue of the Winthrop Observer; any ideas for
future articles can be disussed wit the commission 
• Hannah suggested doing news blurbs that are just short PSAs from WCOD 
• There will be a potluck get together of Winthrop orgs in January; WCOD is a sponsor
of the event; UPDATE: Karla & Nancy attended the 2 hour networking event 
5. Safety Net 
• No updates this month 
• We need to find out if the trasmitters are transferable; Karla will touch base wit
Meredith 
6. Speaker Series 
• February 2026: ADA Accommodations by Kathleen and Jon: accommodations at
work and community access; Feb 25 th ? At 1 pm at Senior Center 
• March 2026: Staying in Your Home by BCIL; March 18 th or 25 th ? 
• May 2026: ADUs: revised regulations; an alternative to nursing homes/group
homes; Hannah will present; can Section 8 be used for an ADU

7. 22G Funds 
• John will continue to monitor the funds 
8. Resource Guide 
• Commission members should review sections of the guide to update them 
• Schedule a spring reprint 
9. Other Business 
• Karla will contact WIHA about the bricks 
10. Goals for 2025-2026 
• Hold the 2 nd Accessible Adventure event next August 
• Work with Dept of Health and Police to establish a registry 
• SafetyNet 
• Speaker Series 
• Resource Guide
