Motion to approve meeting minutes from 5/27/2026 made by Councilor Dimes, 2 nd by
Councilor Romano, all in favor.
Public Comment opened & closed @ 5:34pm. 
AGENDA 
 New Ordinance Chapter 8.50 Electric Bicycles and Motorized Scooters
Discussion: Councilor Millar read through 8.50.010, 8.50.030, 8.50.040, 8.50.050,
8.50.060, 8.50.070 
Motion for a positive recommendation made by Councilor Dimes, 2 nd by Councilor
Romano , all in favor. 
 Review of Town Council Rules & Procedures:
Discussion:
Rule 1: Officers : change language him/her to “ them ” . 
Rule 2(b): Has been modified. 
Rule 2(c) : Councilor Romano suggests a motion change that if a councilor wants to add
a motion that one councilor can make a motion to add something to the next agenda
once the motion is seconded and voted on, motion will be on next agenda. 
Rule 2(c): strike all language from “ unless ” . 
Rule 3: Addition to remote participation to align with the MA Open Meeting Laws.

All committee members will submit their suggestions to Councilor Millar for discussion at
next meeting. Rules 1-4. We will further discuss recommendations prior to asking
General Counsel to attend a meeting to define language changes.
Councilor Romano dropped off the Zoom call due to a dead battery. 
Motion to adjourn by Councilor Millar at 6:30pm, 2 nd by Councilor Dimes
