November 2, 2022 Meeting Minutes Via Zoom Commissioners in attendance: Stephen Machcinski, Tracy Machcinski, Karen Winn, Kim Dimes and Brian Corbett Town Staff members in attendance: Rachel Kelly Commissioners Absent: Chuck Kubik, Al Reynolds Meeting called to order at 7:03. 40 Triton Avenue, Notice of Intent Engineering Alliance attended the meeting to present the application, accompanied by the homeowners. The project construction site is located in an area subject to coastal flooding. The project will consist of a new garage with living quarters above it. The new structure will have a standard foundation with two flow-through flood vents with a mesh covering. The structure run off will go into a 500 gallon dry well which will require a 10 foot x 10 foot excavation pit. Dry well will be installed above the ground water. A motion to continue the hearing to the next meeting was made by Stephen Machcinski. The motion was seconded by Tracy Machcinski. All Commissioners voted unanimously. A site walk will be scheduled. 41 Court Road, Notice of Intent The application was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Carminati, the homeowners. The project will consist of replacing the existing dock on pilings, install a new dock, and the existing seawall. A Chapter 91 license exists for the property and dock. During dock replacement, a barge will be used for construction. The existing seawall is about 4 feet tall and 12 inches wide. It is beginning to lean out and needs to be replaced. Dock will be built off site and delivered by the dock company. Commissioners will schedule a site visit. Karen T. Commission discussed concerns about docks and floats and waiting for Harbormaster and Town Manager’s information on process of policy to enforce regulations. Adjourned @ 9:00
