Public Meeting Conducted VIA Zoom
Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 7pm

7:01 PM With a quorum present Kim Dimes called the meeting to order.

Adding May 22, 2024 meeting to accommodate some filings.

OLD BUSINESS:
    
    • Continued Public Hearing for NOI DEP#082-0552 56 Fairview Street Applicant: Joseph Schettino REP: Eric Bradanese, Engineering Alliance 
Applicant asked for a continuance, they are still waiting on boring samples.

    • Continued Public Hearing for NOI DEP#082-0544 58 Cutler Street Applicant: Charles Crovo, Dunhill Builders 
REP: Elizabeth Wallis, Hayes Engineering  
Received revised plans.  

Motion made by Tim Wilson - 2nd by Stephen Machcinski to close the hearing and Issue the Order of Conditions.  Unanimous vote.

NEW BUSINESS:  

    1. Notice of Intent DEP# 082-0555 100 Nahant Avenue 
Applicant: Brian Anderson REP: Rick Salvo, Engineering Alliance, Inc.
Resource Areas: LSCSF Zone AE
The proposed project includes an addition with a concrete pier foundation and a rear deck using         sonotubes to an existing single-family home.   Commission is looking for a profile view.  Have you calculated the roof runoff.  Set up site walk.

Public comment was opened at 7:36 pm:

131 Sewall Avenue, Christian Helleberg is opposed to the project would like to send in videos and images of the flooding.
143 Sewall Avenue, John Nigro is opposed to the project, sits directly behind the site and would also like to submit videos regarding the flooding and how the water negatively effects the abutters. 
149 Sewall Avenue, Paul Blasi is opposed to the project.  He was opposed to this prior to this.  The area was in contention 8 years ago and was going to be used for water mitigation and a no build zone.  Storm water calculations and surface water accumulation.  The impact to the Sewall Ave properties with basement flooding.  

Public comment was closed at 7:46 pm


Motion made by Chuck Kubik- 2nd by Stephen Machcinski to continue the hearing to May 22, 2024.  Unanimous vote.

    2.       Notice of Intent DEP# 082-0557  60 Grand View Avenue 
      Applicant: Kathleen Kennedy REP: Arick Dyrdal, Design Build Boston Construction LLC
	      Resource Areas: LSCSF Zone VE 
We are not able to open this hearing.  The abutters were not notified correctly.  The mailings/certified return receipts were done improperly.  They need to be redone.  This will also need to be advertised again.  This needs to be continued until May 22, 2024.  

	




    3.        Request for Determination of Applicability 195 Court Road
Applicant: Linda Humphries
	       Resource Area: LSCSF Zone AE
                      The proposed project is to replace the existing wood deck, railings and supports with new.                      
       composite materials.  The deck footprint will remain the same.   Set up site walk. 
		  
Motion made by Tim Wilson- 2nd by Tracy Machcinski to continue the hearing to May 22, 2024. Unanimous vote.

Motion made by Stephen Machcinski - 2nd by Chuck Kubik to approve the minutes.  Unanimous vote.
