Public Meeting Conducted VIA Zoom
Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 7pm 
Members present: Kim Dimes, Steve Machcinski, Tracy Machcinski, Chuck Kubik, Brian Corbett, Tim Wilson, Al Reynolds

7:10 PM With a quorum present Kim Dimes called the meeting to order.

Site walk was conducted with the abutters of 100 Nahant Avenue. 
Correspondence read from Michael Herbert regarding his concern for Point Shirley flooding.  
June 6, 2024, Learn how to fish at Deer Island event.
Winthrop Loves Trees will be planting 3 small dwarf pines (native plants) on the street.

OLD BUSINESS:
    
    • Continued Public Hearing for NOI DEP#082-0552 56 Fairview Street Applicant: Joseph Schettino REP: Eric Bradanese, Engineering Alliance 
They want the property staked out and the excavator removed as soon as possible.  The new plans can be done by right.  The commission would also like erosion controls put in place.  The Commission would like to make another site visit on May 29, 2024.  

Motion made by Tim Wilson - 2nd by Stephen Machcinski to continue to June 5,2024. Unanimous vote. 

			
    • Continued Public Hearing DEP# 082-0555 100 Nahant Avenue 
Applicant: Brian Anderson REP: Rick Salvo and Eric Bradanese, Engineering Alliance, Inc.
Resource Areas: LSCSF Zone AE
Site walk conducted on 5/14/2024.  Awaiting comments from CZM and DEP.  

Motion made by Stephen Machcinski- 2nd by Chuck Kubik to continue to June 5, 2024.  Unanimous vote. 

NEW BUSINESS:  

    • Notice of Intent DEP# 082-0557 60 Grand View Avenue 
Applicant: Kathleen Kennedy REP: Arick Dyrdal, Design Build Boston Construction LLC
	Resource Areas: LSCSF Zone VE 
Addition to back of single-family dwelling.  Coastal zones impact areas are incorrect. Incorrect information on the NOI on page 7 and 8.  The Commission would also like information on stormwater runoff.  Commission has scheduled a site walk for May 29, 2024.

    • Notice of Intent DEP# 082-0556 19 Nahant Avenue 
Applicant: Robert and Kelly Travaglini REP: Rick Salvo, Engineering Alliance, Inc. and Marc Chapdelaine 
Reconstruct the stairs, add a firepit, sitting area, outdoor kitchen and grill and a new paver surface.  The Commission has scheduled a site walk for May 29, 2024.

Applicant: Jeremy Hmura REP: Rick Salvo, Engineering Alliance, Inc. 
All work will be conducted above the mean high-water line and all above the Chapter 91 license.  The commission will email Chapter 91 regarding the project.  Work will be conducted in pieces to make sure the coastal bank is stable.  The Commission has scheduled a site walk for May 29, 2024.

              After a site walk on 5/14/2024.  The Commission has said there is ZERO impact.
