Present: Hannah Belcher, Cheryl McCormack, Scott Mahoney Wright, Cassie Witthaus,
Katharine O ’ Malley, Judie VanKooiman
Absent: Darren Baird 
● Swearing in of members(Katharine O ’ Malley and Judie VanKooiman outstanding for
future application review 
Discussion: 
-Resources for the Town Website regarding home ownership assistance
-recommendation of MassHousing home ownership resources page to the Town
Council discussed with the follow up being for Cassie W. to provide links to the resource
pages for the town website
-Discuss communicating with MassHousing staff about organizing a training for Realtors
working in Winthrop about their programs for ownership and multifamily ownership
-Follow up that Scott Mahoney Wright contacts realtors active in Winthrop, will
communicate responses from realtors as to their knowledge of Masshousing homeownership
assistance programs they can connect people to
-Discusses next steps of connecting realtors to Masshousing staff who can share
information about the programs with them, if not familiar. Potential of setting up an education
session for potential homebuyers in Winthrop who are interested in the programs from
Masshousing.
Public Comment
Kathleen Cappucio notes that Mission Statements are common for town committees
