● Roll Call: 
Present: Hannah Belcher, Cheryl McCormick, Scott Mahoney Wright, Cassie Witthaus, 
Katharine O’Malley 
Absent: Darren Baird , Judie VanKooiman 
● Swearing in of remaining members 
Old Business Updates: 
-Home Ownership Resource Publication: Not on website as of 5/12. Request follow up sent
to town staff prior to meeting and following meeting. 
-Realtors and mass Realtors Association contact: Realtors association responded to Scott
stating that they do not have any trainings of this type currently. 
New Business: 
-Mission Statement: Discussion of education on affordability, area median income,
resources for community members and making these accessible 
-Data on cost of living in Winthrop (AMI and budget spent on housing): review of Census
Data and desire for more specificity than the high level presented in the data, which already shows
a general need to overpay by a minimum of over $100 a month to pay for housing through a
mortgage.
